Hello everyone,

Recently, there has been many complaints of criminal mischief in the areas of New Wedgewood, Heritage Valley and in the area of Wendee Way. The types of mischief are eggs and damage to vehicles, knocking over trash and recycle cans. These incidents are taking place after midnight and subjects are in their late teens. The subjects drive to these locations and continue to commit these types of acts. We are actively patrolling these areas and if any concerned citizens observed or have information regarding this please contact me ASAP. Again, mailboxes are being damaged and stolen. We have arrested one subject with three damaged mailboxes in their car last week. If any other suspicious or criminal activity is occurring in your area. contact me so that we can proactively address these problems.

The week of June 26 through June 30, we have our first Junior Police Academy. It was a great success and the class has doubled for the second week which starts August 7. This class is now full but we will run classes next year. Also, National Night Out is scheduled for August 1. We look forward to seeing and enjoying this night with you. Please contact me with any questions or concerns at #589-8594.

Thank you,

Cpl. Bill Lee
